Jackson HealthPros is seeking a travel Radiation Therapist for a travel job in Knoxville, Tennessee. Minimum Qualifications • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Radiation Therapy from an accredited program. • AART Certification in Radiation Therapy. • Valid Radiation Therapy state license, if required. • National licensure. • BLS/CPR certification. • Minimum 1 year experience as a Radiation Therapist. • Experience with Mosaiq EMR. • Ability to wear steel grey scrubs and lab coat/non-fleece jacket as required. No artificial nails. • Must reside greater than 50 miles from the facility. Preferred Qualifications • Experience in hospital or community health system settings. • Experience working in multi-room treatment environments. Assignment Details Shift hours: 06:00–12:00. No weekends. No call. No floating. Patient ratio: treatments scheduled every 15 minutes. Currently one treatment room; two treatment rooms expected within two months with two therapists on duty. Scrub color and attire requirements: steel grey scrubs; lab coat or non-fleece jacket optional. RTO requests must be submitted with the application. Impacting Patient Care Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment. Accurately position patients and ensure proper immobilization during treatment. Verify treatment plans and dosage with the oncology team. Monitor patients for adverse reactions during and after therapy. Document treatments and maintain accurate patient records.
