Jackson HealthPros is seeking a travel Radiation Therapist for a travel job in Knoxville, Tennessee. Applicants must meet the client-specific requirements listed below. Minimum Qualifications • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Radiation Therapy from an accredited program. • AART Certification in Radiation Therapy. • Valid Radiation Therapy state licensure, if required. • National licensure. • Current BLS/CPR certification. • Minimum 1 year experience as a Radiation Therapist. • Experience using Mosaiq EMR. • Ability to comply with facility uniform requirements: steel grey scrubs; lab coat or non-fleece jacket optional; no artificial nails. • Travelers must have a permanent home address greater than 50 miles from the facility. Preferred Qualifications • Experience working in hospital or outpatient radiation oncology settings. • Familiarity with multi-room workflow and treatment room operations. Assignment Details Shift hours include start times around 6:00 AM or 7:15 AM and coverage that includes early morning through midday (example blocks listed: 6:00–12:00). No weekends. No call required. No floating. Must coordinate shift specifics with the director; flexibility is required. Patient treatment ratio scheduling approximates one patient every 15 minutes. Currently one treatment room in use with two treatment rooms coming online; staffing will include two therapists on site when expanded. Impacting Patient Care Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment. Accurately position patients and ensure proper immobilization during treatment. Verify treatment plans and dosage with the oncology team. Monitor patients for adverse reactions during and after therapy. Document treatments and maintain accurate patient records. Adhere to safety protocols and quality standards to ensure effective, timely patient care.
