Exciting Opportunity for Medical Laboratory Technicians (Nights)

Job Description:

• Join a dynamic team dedicated to patient care and diagnostic excellence!
• Shift: Nights - 6 PM to 6:30 AM, 3x12's with alternating weekends
• Floating: Opportunity to float within the lab
• No Call: Enjoy a work-life balance with no on-call requirements
• Block Scheduling: None; experience diverse and varied shifts

Requirements:

• Experience:
• Minimum of 1 year in Chemistry, Hematology, or Blood Bank preferred
• Education:
• Associate degree from an accredited Medical Lab Technician program or equivalent
• Certification:
• Valid MLT certification through TN State Licensure, ASCP, AMT, AAB, HHS, or equivalent agency required
• TN State license preferred
• OR
• Military veterans who completed a U.S. military medical laboratory procedures training course (minimum 50 weeks) with the Military Occupational Specialty of Medical Laboratory Specialist
• Skills:
• Proficient in performing diagnostic testing on patient samples
• Strong ability to follow standardized procedures and prepare samples for testing
• Excellent analytical skills for evaluating test results for accuracy and critical limits
• Ability to work under limited experience and judgment while accomplishing goals
