Required Education:

  • HS Diploma or GED

    Required Skills:
  • Zero to one year of related experience
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to understand basic instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
  • Basic reading, writing, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team

    Preferred Skills:
  • Computer experience in Word and Excel

    Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for performing tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, and management of materials, supplies, and equipment.
  • Receives and prepares incoming materials for input into inventory. Verifies the quantity and condition of materials.
  • Loads/unloads boxes, pallets, etc. onto truck for delivery. Prepares records of goods shipped and received, maintains accurate inventory count and resolves discrepancies via appropriate computer program.
  • Sorts and places materials on racks or shelves according to a predetermined sequence.
  • Assists in performing physical inventory to ensure adequate stocking levels.
  • Utilizes appropriate method of identification for labeling materials; i.e. bar codes.
  • May prepare parcels for mailing or pallets for outbound shipping.
  • Maintains a clean and organized work environment in the warehouse and work area, which may include basic janitorial duties. Able to accommodate rushed and established Service Level Agreements (SLA).
