QA/QC Inspector

Stella Contracting, Inc is a leading construction company that specializes in commercial and residential projects. We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated QA/QC Inspector to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis.

As a QA/QC Inspector, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and safety of our construction projects. You will be responsible for conducting inspections, tests, and audits to ensure that all materials, processes, and products meet our company's standards and comply with industry regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct inspections and tests on all construction materials, processes, and products according to industry standards and company specifications
• Identify and report any defects or non-conformities and work with the project team to resolve them in a timely manner
• Monitor and document the quality control processes and procedures to ensure they are being followed accurately
• Review and approve quality control documents, including inspection reports, test results, and certifications
• Communicate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure that quality standards are being met throughout the project
• Conduct safety inspections and ensure compliance with all safety regulations and protocols
• Participate in project meetings and provide recommendations for quality improvements
• Keep accurate records of all inspections, tests, and audits for future reference
• Stay up-to-date with industry standards and regulations to ensure compliance and continuous improvement in quality control processes

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a QA/QC Inspector in the construction industry
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and processes
• Familiarity with industry standards and regulations, such as ASTM, ACI, and AISC
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify and report defects or non-conformities
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with project teams
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
• Proficient in using quality control software and tools
• Certifications in quality control and safety are preferred
