Form Carpenter

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Form Carpenters for projects located in or around Alcoa, TN. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is up to $27/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:

• Constructing, installing, and repairing form-work for concrete structures, walls, columns, slabs, and foundations
• Reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and specifications
• Setting and stripping concrete forms for structural concrete ensuring accuracy
• Setting and aligning forms to proper elevation and grade
• Tying rebar and assisting with concrete pours as needed
• Striping forms and cleaning/preparing for reuse

Requirements:

• Must have 4+years of commercial or industrial form carpentry experience
• Must have all basic hand tools (hammer, tape measure, level, square, tool belt, etc.)
• Must have proper PPE (hard hat, safety vest, gloves, steel toe boots, safety glasses)
• Ability to read blueprints and work independently or as part of a team
• Reliable transportation and strong work ethic
• Ability to pass a background check to work on government facilities
