As a Dimensional Inspector, you will play a key role in ensuring that every component we produce or procure meets the highest standards of quality. Using a mix of advanced Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs) and hands-on inspection tools, you'll help guarantee that parts are ready for the next stage of production or customer delivery. Your work directly supports the reliability and excellence our customers depend on.
What You Will Do:
In this role, you will perform dimensional inspections using CMMs, manual measurement tools, and vision-based equipment to verify that components meet all quality standards throughout the manufacturing process. You'll review inspection results, prepare required reports, upload documentation, and manage nonconformance records. The role includes maintaining inspection equipment, following established quality procedures, supporting and training other team members, and keeping work areas clean and organized. Occasional evening or weekend work may be needed to meet deadlines, and you will be expected to always practice safe work habits while assisting with additional projects as assigned.
We'd Love to Hear from Candidates with:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least two years of CMM-based dimensional inspection experience
• Basic knowledge of GD&T (ANSI Y14.5)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to read mechanical drawings and CAD models.
• Able to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
• Skilled in writing reports and procedures
• Effective communication with coworkers, engineering, and support staff
• Proficient with computers and Microsoft Office
• Must have or be able to obtain a DOE Q-level security clearance
A Successful Candidate Also Brings:
• Experience with Zeiss CMMs and Calypso software
• Background inspecting tight-tolerance, high-value components

In addition, once employed, employees will become part of a random drug testing program and may also be tested in the event of any incident causing injury or causing damage to property, or if it is determined that there is a reasonable suspicion the employee is under the influence of drugs or alcohol. This position will require preemployment background check on the part of the Company and in order to receive a Q security clearance, a background investigation by the Federal government. Subsequent Federal government reinvestigations may be required.
