What You Will Do:

This role involves independently operating advanced precision machining equipment-such as lathes, grinders, and milling machines-to ensure parts meet strict customer specifications. It requires interpreting technical drawings, sketches, and specifications while applying shop math to plan and execute accurate machining work from start to finish. Responsibilities include selecting proper tools and fixtures, determining machining sequences, performing finishing and hand-tool operations, and verifying quality using precision measurement instruments. The position also demands monitoring machine systems for necessary adjustments, working across multiple information systems, and supporting smooth operations by collaborating with customers, support teams, and supervisors, as well as coordinating and managing materials throughout the machining process.

We'd Love to Hear from People with:

• A high school diploma or equivalent
• 2-5 years of machinist experience in a manufacturing environment

A Successful Candidate Brings:

• Completion of a machining apprenticeship or equivalent hands-on training
• Experience with Esprit CAD/CAM or CREO Manufacturing software
• A Q-Clearance (or ability to obtain one)

This position requires the successful candidate to obtain and maintain a Q security clearance. Candidates for positions requiring a security clearance are required to be tested for the absence of any illegal drug as defined in 10 CFR 707.4 prior to an offer of employment being made. In addition, once employed, employees will become part of a random drug testing program and may also be tested in the event of any incident causing injury or causing damage to property, or if it is determined that there is a reasonable suspicion the employee is under the influence of drugs or alcohol. This position will require preemployment background check on the part of the Company and in order to receive a Q security clearance, a background investigation by the Federal government. Subsequent Federal government reinvestigations may be required.
