Description:

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Medical Front Desk Specialist for our healthcare client in Knoxville, TN. This onsite, temporarytohire opportunity is ideal for someone who thrives in a patientfocused, fastpaced environment where communication, organization, and accuracy are essential.

About the Role

  • Type: Temp to Hire
  • Location: Knoxville, TN.
  • Compensation: $16.50-$17.50 per hour
Responsibilities
  • Greet and assist patients in person and by phone
  • Route calls, answer general questions, and collect copayments
  • Accept copayments
  • Support daily clinic flow, schedules, and front desk operations
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
  • Assist with basic administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications
  • Experience in a healthcare office or medical administrative environment
  • Strong communication skills and professional phone etiquette
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fastpaced setting
  • Comfort using EHR and scheduling platforms; strong attention to accuracy
  • Understanding of basic insurance concepts (eligibility, benefits, medical necessity)
  • Prior authorization or surgery scheduling experience is a plus but not required
  • Commitment to confidentiality and compliance expectations
Required Skills
  • Strong communication skills and professional phone etiquette, ability to manage multiple tasks in a fastpaced setting, comfort using EHR and scheduling platforms, strong attention to accuracy.
