This role will be located at our Knoxville, Tennessee facility.Role OverviewBeehive Industries is searching for a qualified candidate to fill an open position for Post Processing Operator. This position is a manufacturing operator position intended for a self-driven professional looking to expand their abilities.ResponsibilitiesPerform support removal, surface finishing, and dimensional checks of metal partsOperate post-processing equipment including bandsaws, EDMs, and hand toolsConduct visual inspections and follow quality control proceduresCommunicate necessary tools and consumable items for day to day operationsMaintain cleanliness and organization of post-processing work areasDocument work performed and report part non-conformancesFollow safety protocols and participate in continuous improvement effortsQualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalent3-5 years of experience in manufacturing, machining, or hands‑on technical roleFamiliarity with MES systems and other computer based systems (Microsoft office, SmartSheets, etc.)Comfort using hand tools and basic measurement devices (calipers, micrometers)Ability to interpret basic engineering drawings and work instructionsWillingness to wear required PPE including respirators, gloves, and protective clothingAbility to work overtime or shift schedules as required by production demandsStrong teamwork and communication skillsAbility to maintain compliance with aerospace quality and safety standardsSecurity ClearanceThe ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. Citizenship is required, as only U.S. Citizens are eligible for a security clearance.Nice to HavePrevious manufacturing, machining, or production experienceHigh School Diploma or equivalent3-5 years of experience in manufacturing, machining, or hands‑on technical roleFamiliarity with MES systems and other computer based systems (Microsoft office, SmartSheets, etc.)Comfort using hand tools and basic measurement devices (calipers, micrometers)Ability to interpret basic engineering drawings and work instructionsPhysical RequirementsRemain in a standing or sitting stationary position for 3-4 hours per day (1-2 hours at one time).Move about 3-4 hours per day (1-2 hours at one time).Frequently lift or carry objects between 26 – 45 pounds.Frequently push or pull objects between 26-45 pounds.Frequently reach at or below shoulder level, and occasionally reach overhead.Frequently use hands and fingers to handle or operate objects, tools, or controls.Occasionally bend, stoop, or twist.Occasionally crouch, kneel, and squat.If this sounds like you, please submit an application with your resume.
