POSITION SUMMARY The CSC Manager serves as the landlord of the Oak Ridge Reservation, where it provides essential services, coordination, integration, and leadership across the Site to program organizations and tenants. The Office of Equal Employment Opportunity, Diversity and Inclusion Programs (EEODI) is part of the CSC Manager's office. EEODI is also the central office for coordination with Special Emphasis Programs Managers (Women's Emphasis Program, Hispanic Employment Program, Asian American/Pacific Islander Emphasis Program, Black Emphasis Program, People with Disabilities Emphasis Program, Veterans Emphasis Program, LGBTQ Emphasis Program, and American Indian/Native Alaskan Emphasis Program). ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Work scope includes, but is not limited to, the following administrative support activities: * Provide General Administrative Support to senior executives within the CSC Manager's Office. * Provide EEODI General Administrative Support. * Serve as an EEO Counselor for Informal Complaints, as assigned by EEO Manager. * Support EEO Manager in processing and tracking of Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO)Complaints. * Prepare Statistical Reports as directed by EEO Manager. EDUCATION/TRAINING * High school diploma or GED is required. * Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is commonly preferred. * Relevant fields of study include: Human Resources, Business Administration, Public Administration, Political Science, or Legal Studies. * 32 hours of initial EEO Counselor training EXPERIENCE * 1-3 years of experience in one or more of the following areas: Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO), Human Resources, Employee Relations, Investigations, Conflict Resolution, Mediation or Counseling * Experience conducting EEO intake interviews and gathering relevant facts from employees and management.. SKILLS/ABILITIES * Strong interviewing and communication skills * Ability to explain employees' rights and responsibilities * Maintaining confidential and sensitive records in compliance with federal privacy regulations. * Experience preparing written reports, counseling summaries, case files, and settlement documentation. * Analytical and problem-solving abilities * Experience with mediation or ADR * Facilitating conflict resolution, mediation sessions, and alternative dispute Resolution (ADR) processes.
