Job Title: Auto Detailer Assistant / ApprenticeDepartment: Parkside Detail / Reconditioning DeptSupervisor: Curtis PriceSchedule/Hours: Rotating ShiftsSummaryWe are seeking hard working and dependable individuals to join our team as Auto Detailer Assistant / Apprentice. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring vehicles are cleaned quickly, efficiently, and to the highest standards while providing excellent customer service. You will learn the process we use to clean the vehicles to the highest of standards with opportunity for advancement. This is a fast‑paced position ideal for someone who enjoys hands‑on work and being part of a team.Essential DutiesWash, dry and clean vehicle exteriors using automated and manual methodsVacuum interiors and wipe down dashboards, consoles, and door panelsClean windows, mirrors, and tires to a spotless shineApply waxes, protectants, and tire shine as neededGuide vehicles safely into the wash tunnel when requiredMaintain cleanliness of the wash area, equipment, and workstationsFollow all safety procedures and company policiesOther duties assigned by managerSupervisory Responsibilities: NoneQualificationsHigh School Graduate or GEDPrevious car wash or auto detailing experience is a plus but not requiredStrong attention to detail and qualityAbility to work independently and as part of a teamGood time management skillsPhysical ability to stand, bend, and lift for extended periodsSkills, Reasoning Ability, and Performance ExpectationsKnowledge of cleaning products and detailing techniquesAbility to operate detailing equipment (buffers, vacuums, pressure washers)Strong work ethic and reliabilityCustomer service skillsAbility to follow instructions and company standardsPhysical DemandsMust be able to lift up to 50 lbs.Includes tasks such as talking, hearing, collecting, handling, inputting, preparing, sitting, standing, walking, repeated reaching, bending, stooping, squatting, occasional ladder climbing, pushing, pulling, carrying, and maneuvering up to 50 lbs.Work EnvironmentMay work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditionsExposure to cleaning chemicals and equipmentFast‑paced environment with attention to deadlinesThese responsibilities, qualifications, expectations, skills, physical demands, and work environment toleration must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
