Warehouse Associate

Join our dynamic team as a Warehouse Associate at our Distribution Hub in Maryville, TN. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring that stock is efficiently received, stored, and shipped to local clients. Your daily tasks will include receiving stock from a larger distribution center, organizing it for local storage, and fulfilling orders by picking and shipping products to our valued customers.

Responsibilities

• Receive stock from the central distribution center and organize it in local storage.
• Fulfill local orders by picking, packing, and shipping products to clients.
• Operate an Order Picker forklift to reach heights of up to 20 feet, standing for long periods during shifts.
• Utilize a standing Reach Truck for certain orders when necessary.
• Maintain inventory control and ensure accurate stock levels.
• Perform general warehouse labor tasks including loading, unloading, and inventory management.

Essential Skills

• Experience in receiving, picking, packing, and shipping.
• Proficiency in operating forklifts, specifically Order Picker and Reach Truck.
• Strong inventory management and control skills.
• Excellent attendance and punctuality.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in a warehouse distribution hub is a plus.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Work Environment

Work in a friendly and supportive environment with 10 team members at our Maryville warehouse. The schedule is Monday to Friday, 7:30 am to 4:30 pm, with a one-hour lunch break and two 15-minute breaks. Enjoy paid holidays and a culture that values your contributions.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Maryville, TN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
