Your day-to-day job duties will include, but are not limited to:Recruit and hire store associates to serve our customersFoster the growth and development of associates through training on operations and merchandising while coaching and correcting when appropriateOversee and delegate all store activities to ensure smooth daily operationsEnsure full compliance with applicable laws and regulations, while enforcing company policies and proceduresPerform opening and closing procedures as neededImplement operational and merchandising direction from our corporate headquartersHelp your store reach its maximum profit contributionProtect company assetsMaintain a high level of customer service across the storeEnsure a positive, safe, and respectful environment while maintaining professional and friendly interactions with customers, associates, and leadersMinimum 3 years prior retail management experience preferredExperience with hardlines or variety merchandise; BIG BOX experience a plusStrong productivity management in freight processing requiredStrong communication, interpersonal, and written skills requiredAbility to work in a high-energy, team environment requiredMust be able to lift 30 to 50 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting, with or without reasonable accommodationYour Skills and Experience:Here, your hard work pays off in more ways than one!
