Job Description
The purpose of this role is to stripe all parking lots at company locations nationwide on
schedule.
Apply paint or lacquer using striping equipment to parking lots, side roads, andbollards
Stripe parking lots in accordance with ADA rules and regulations
Examine finished surfaces and verify conformance to specifications; retouch anydefective areas
Clean and maintain tools and equipment
Clean surfaces of work pieces in preparation for coating, using cleaning fluids,solvents, brushes, scrapers, steam, sandpaper, or cloth
Select and mix ingredients to prepare coating substances according to specifications
Conceal blemishes, nicks, and dents in work pieces using fillers
Model behaviors that support the company's common purpose; ensure guests andteam members are supported at the highest level
Ensure all activities follow rules, regulations, policies, and procedures
Ensure completion of annual striping projects at all company locations within acalendar year
Responsible for performing various tasks to aid daily operations
Complete other duties as assigned
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent certificate required
Valid state driver's license required
Must pass a pre-employment DOT background check, medical exam, and drugscreen to obtain a DOT Certified medical card.
Current DOT medical card preferred.
Must pass a DOT driving test and have a clear Motor Vehicle Report (MVR).
Minimum three years' striping or parking lot maintenance experience preferred
Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
Must conform to all DOT hours of service regulations
Strong interpersonal, communication, and listening skills
Ability to multitask, manage time, problem solve, and navigate change
