Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required
  
• Minimum 6 months of experience in medical billing, payment posting, healthcare collections, insurance processing, or revenue cycle management
  
• Knowledge of insurance denials, claim rejections, and coordination of benefits (COB)
  
• Strong data entry and computer skills
  
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
  
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively
  
• Experience working with healthcare billing systems is preferred
  
  Job Duties:
  
  
  
  • Process and post insurance and patient payments accurately and efficiently
    
  • Review electronic remittance advice (ERA) and explanation of benefits (EOB) documentation
    
  • Research and resolve insurance payment discrepancies
    
  • Process insurance denials and claim rejections while following established procedures
    
  • Apply coordination of benefits (COB) guidelines to ensure accurate reimbursement
    
  • Maintain accurate account records and support collection and follow-up efforts
    
  • Verify payment documentation and ensure compliance with company policies
    
  • Meet quality, productivity, and accuracy standards in a fast-paced office environment
