Business Title: Analyst IPosition Title: Laboratory Analyst I, MetalsDivision: Consumer Products ServicesEntity: ATLReports to: Metals Laboratory Supervisor IFLSA: Non-exemptHours Worked: Second shift typically 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM, Monday through Friday, forty-hours per week. However, must be flexible to meet the needs of the department and complete other projects as assigned.Position SummaryThe Laboratory Analyst I, Metals is responsible for preparing and analyzing a wide variety of client samples for elemental content using analytical chemistry methodology and various spectroscopic instruments.Duties And ResponsibilitiesIt is everyone's responsibility to live out our Values and Absolutes by Shaping a World of Trust while ensuring responsible progress.Preparing samples, standard reference materials, reagents, and/or solutions.Maintaining a clean and well-organized work area.Performing and documenting routine maintenance and calibration of instrumentation.Documenting/recording raw data and results of analyses.Executing analytical procedures in accordance with the appropriate regulations.Follow the guidelines set forth with the company Quality, Health, Safety, Security and Environmental policies and procedures.Comply with company management systems in accordance with appropriate regulatory agencies.Follows the guidelines set forth in the company Quality Manual and Safety / Chemical Hygiene Plan.Adhere to the requirements of the company Quality System.Other duties as defined by supervisor, department needs and workload.Skills & ProficienciesGood critical thinker and problem solver, possess good interpersonal skills, and have good technical writing and communication skills.The ability to prioritize, multi-task, and interpret mathematical relationships.Possess a willingness to learn in a team-based environment.The ability to work independently and as part of a group.Good attention to detail.Basic computer skills.Positive attitude, self-motivated, high level of engagement.Adheres to company values.Education And ExperienceDegree requirement: Bachelor's Degree in Biochemistry, Chemistry, Biology or closely related field.Minimum of one (1) year of experience working in an analytical chemistry laboratory preferred.Experience in a GLP/cGMP and ISO regulated environment preferred.An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted in lieu of above.Compensation Range: $18-$20 an hour (e.g., the job posting is not necessarily reflective of actual compensation that may be earned, and actual compensation is subject to variation due to such factors as locations, education, experience, and skillset).#J-18808-Ljbffr
