Quality Inspector / Quality Technician

A well-established steel fabrication company in the Knoxville area is looking for a Quality Inspector to ensure fabricated steel components meet quality, dimensional, and workmanship standards.

Responsibilities:

• Perform visual and dimensional inspections using calipers, micrometers, and gauges
• Read blueprints, shop drawings, and weld symbols
• Identify defects and document inspection results
• Work with welders, fabricators, and supervisors to resolve quality issues

Qualifications:

• Experience in manufacturing, welding, fabrication, or quality control
• Ability to read blueprints and weld symbols
• Comfortable using precision measuring tools and working with tolerances

Preferred: Steel/plate fabrication, weld inspection, AWS/ASME/AISC exposure, or QA/QC experience.

Pay: $20-$25/hr Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM-4:00 PM Full-time with opportunities for growth.
