Quality SpecialistThe Quality Specialist will be expected to perform basic quality control functions from subcomponents inspections to finished good dock audits to ensure company products are being produced and distributed with the highest amount of quality, with zero defects. Responsibilities:Perform production audits to ensure process quality and performanceInspection of parts using calipers, micrometers, indicators, and other inspection equipmentExperience/Knowledge of CMMAbility to produce and generate quality/process performance reportsAbility to disposition non-conforming material through the containment processAbility to gather data for SPC monitoringRun controlled experiments in order to improve process improvementOther duties may be assignedRequirements:5+ years' experience in industrial manufacturing (preferably automotive tier 1)Ford or GM manufacturing experience preferredKnowledge of GD&T, measuring equipment, and standard quality testing techniquesBasic math knowledge and the ability to read drawingsUnderstanding and knowledge of the metric systemAbility to troubleshoot and solve quality/manufacturing issuesAbility to work well other employees, auditors, suppliers, and customersAbility to multi task and work in a high paced manufacturing environment
