Benefits Weekly pay with skill pay and shift differentialsMedical, dental, vision and medical reimbursement benefits packageMedical employee‑only premium less than $10 per week with wellness discountsHealth Savings Account (HSA) with annual employer contributionWeekly 401(k) matchVacation immediately upon hire8 holidays per calendar yearPersonal time after 90 daysEAP and identity theft protectionTuition reimbursementCompany paid life insurance and short‑term disabilityPosition Overview Cross‑dock Associates are responsible for loading, unloading, sorting, staging and transporting products within a cross‑dock environment.Responsibilities Follow company safety policies and procedures and encourage other Associates to do the same.Safely operate forklift and/or other machinery for loading, unloading, sorting, staging and transporting products.Work cooperatively and productively with supervisors and other Associates to complete tasks.Arrange cartons on pallets taking into account size, weight, height and cubical weight.Load trucks while considering cubic weight, size and characteristics (e.g., crushable).Work independently with little supervision to receive, pick, and handle products.Provide outstanding service to customers by maintaining attention to detail and completing assigned work in a timely manner.Maintain the condition of the distribution center and/or warehouse work area (e.g., free of trash, items in correct location).Perform additional duties as assigned by Distribution Center or Warehouse Management.Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).Must be eighteen years of age or older.Experience may include previous warehouse or logistics work (preferred).After completion of training and certification, may drive gasoline, liquefied gas or electric‑powered industrial truck equipped with lifting devices such as forklift and clamp attachments.Legal Statements Saddle Creek is an Equal Opportunity Employer and an affirmative action employer.
