Full-Time Videographer & Editor

We Know People Media | Knoxville, TN

We Know People Media is looking for a talented, driven Videographer & Editor to join our growing team in person in Knoxville. This is not a remote role. We work with a wide variety of East Tennessee clients across industries, creating high-quality video, photography and social media content that helps brands stand out.

We're looking for a creative who can take projects from concept to completion, has a strong visual eye and knows how to turn ideas into polished work. This person should be confident behind the camera and in the editing room, comfortable contributing to creative direction and capable of managing their workload without constant oversight.

We're a fast-paced, growing company, and we need someone who takes initiative, adapts quickly and takes pride in their work.

What You'll Do

* Shoot video and photography: Lead and execute client shoots across a range of industries and formats, including social media campaigns, brand films, business features and lifestyle content.

* Edit and deliver content: Produce approximately 10–15 short-form social media reels per week, along with photography and additional video deliverables as needed.

* Own projects from start to finish: Manage footage, photo editing, revisions, file organization and final delivery while meeting deadlines and maintaining quality.

* Contribute creative ideas: Bring concepts, shot ideas and visual direction to the table, helping elevate the quality and originality of our clients' content.

* Collaborate on creative direction: Work with the team to develop and execute concepts that align with each client's brand and goals.

* Manage your workload independently: Balance multiple clients and deadlines, communicate proactively and keep projects moving without needing to be micromanaged.

What We're Looking For

* Proven ability to both shoot and edit video and photography.

* A strong portfolio demonstrating technical skill, creativity and a clear visual point of view.

* A great eye for composition, lighting, movement, pacing and color.

* Proficiency with professional camera equipment and video and photo editing software.

* Strong time management, organization and communication skills.

* A self-starter who takes ownership, solves problems and follows through.

* Someone who brings ideas to the table, welcomes feedback and can turn creative concepts into finished work.

* The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with multiple clients, shifting priorities and consistent deadlines.

Experience working with a variety of brands, industries and social media formats is a plus.

The Right Fit

We're looking for more than someone who can operate a camera and edit footage. We want someone with creative instincts, a strong work ethic and the confidence to take a project and run with it.

The right person knows how to balance creative vision with efficiency, recognizes opportunities to make the work better and takes responsibility for delivering excellent results. They work well with a team but don't need someone looking over their shoulder to get things done.

Position Details

* Position: Full-Time Videographer & Editor

* Location: Knoxville, Tennessee

* Employment Type: Full-time

* Salary: $45,000–$55,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications

* Equipment & Software: All necessary camera equipment, production gear and editing software will be provided by We Know People Media.

* Work Environment: Hands-on, collaborative and fast-paced, with regular client shoots and editing responsibilities.
