Role model and demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety of others.RESPONSIBILITIES Promote trust and respect among associatesCreate an environment that enables customers to feel welcome, important and appreciated by answering questions regarding products sold within the department and throughout the storeGain and maintain knowledge of products sold within the department and be able to respond to questions and make suggestions about productsStocks grocery product in correct locationsPull down and condition Grocery productsUtilize equipment to unload Grocery load from semi-trailersSort load merchandise in preparation for stockingCut and open boxes for stockingLoad merchandise on U-boats for stockingTransfer merchandise by U-boats through storeStack pallets of merchandise in backroom storage area, stack pallets for returnRotate perishable products, monitor code dates and remove out of codes productsRemove empty boxes and trash from aisles and properly disposes of themOrder grocery productsCheck-in vendors, verify incoming ordersCount product in the backroom for inventoryBuild displays, set and reset items and make price changes as neededCheck out customers on registers as neededAssist in training of new individuals to this Dept., as neededReinforce safety programs by complying with safety procedures and identify unsafe conditions and notify store managementPractice preventive maintenance by properly inspecting equipment and notify appropriate department or store manager of any items in need of repairNotify management of customer or employee accidentsReport all safety risks or issues, and illegal activity, including: robbery, theft or fraudMust be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodationQUALIFICATIONS Minimum Ability to handle stressful situationsEffective communication skillsKnowledge of basic mathDesired High school diploma or equivalentRetail experienceSecond language: speaking, reading and/or writing#J-18808-Ljbffr
