Trades Exchange is hiring experienced HVAC Service Technicians for a full-time opportunity in Knoxville, TN. This position involves diagnosing, troubleshooting, servicing, and repairing heating and cooling systems, with the potential to transition into permanent employment. Applicants must have at least 2 years of hands-on HVAC service experience, strong diagnostic skills, and their own HVAC gauges, diagnostic tools, and standard hand tools.

Job Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, service, and repair HVAC systems.
• Identify mechanical, electrical, and equipment-related issues.
• Perform preventative maintenance and routine HVAC service calls.
• Determine appropriate repairs for heating and cooling system failures.
• Use HVAC gauges, diagnostic equipment, and standard hand tools.
• Communicate professionally with customers about service needs and repairs.
• Complete service calls efficiently while maintaining quality workmanship.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and professional work environment.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of HVAC service experience required.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Must have HVAC gauges, diagnostic tools, and standard hand tools.
• Ability to work independently and provide professional customer service.
• Dependable attendance, strong work ethic, and a positive attitude.

Pay & Benefits

Pay ranges from $22–$30 per hour, based on experience.
